Who Turned Journey to the West into an Otome Game?

[Quest issued: Kui Mulang's Love

Host must get Kui Mulang to confess his love. Reward: [One plot of uncultivated land]]

Lin Shu: "So this is a farming game disguised as an otome game?"

Lin Shu was a smart, capable (?), twenty-first-century college student. When she learned she'd transmigrated into the world of Journey to the West, she rubbed her hands together eagerly.

"Journey to the West? That's just a pilgrimage for scriptures. I know this story."

After choosing from the settings the System offered, she confidently prepared to set off on the journey to retrieve the scriptures, waiting for Tang Sanzang to arrive. But then...

"Get Kui Mulang's affection to 100%? Nobody told me this was an otome game!"

"What am I supposed to do, when I put every skill point into strength?"

"So if the otome game's male lead dies, does that mean I don't have to pursue him anymore?"

Lin Shu sharpened her knife and looked at the blue-faced, fanged Kui Mulang. One slap sent him flying.

"Whoa... Maybe I can take a different route with these strength stats?"

Looking at the vegetable seeds she'd received as a quest reward, Lin Shu pinned Kui Mulang down by the neck and slapped him over and over. "Say you love me! Come on, say it!"

Reader's guide:

1. Otome-oriented. Kui Mulang is just one of the available targets.
