The third book in the Scoundrels of the Wuxia World series. I'm done being human, jpg.
Among Grand Preceptor Cai's faction, the one with the highest martial arts skill is Yuan Shen. Yuan Xian took many disciples and also gave pointers to the guards at the Grand Preceptor's residence. Of his students, the Six Harmony Azure Dragon and Number Seven Under Heaven were the ones Grand Preceptor Cai valued most.
Yet within the sect, neither the Six Harmony Azure Dragon nor Number Seven Under Heaven dared act out in front of their senior sister.
Their senior sister was exceptionally skilled and deeply trusted by their master. She was a favorite of Grand Preceptor Cai, and had been at their master's side long before the Six Harmony Azure Dragon became his disciple. In private, they all guessed that she must have been taught their master's most closely guarded secret techniques.
They also speculated about her origins and how she came to become their master's disciple. Their theories, however, were already eight million miles from the truth.

Snow and Mud is Xiao Jing's weapon. It cuts down enemies as easily as it cuts through snow and mud. Incredibly sharp, it once left a deep, unforgettable scar on the face of this third disciple of the Carefree Sect.
To him, it is a memento of Xiao Jing.
To Snow and Mud, Yuan Xian is also a memento of Xiao Jing: the husband she tacitly allowed to kill her and set her free.
Humans are so hard to understand, Snow and Mud thinks.
Snow and Mud takes human form, the nonhuman senior sister under Yuan Xian.
Since she's not human, let's not worry about the senior sister's morals.
Though there'll be plenty of tangled relationships, with Yuan Xian, Zhuge Xiao Jing, and the big love triangle in side-story flashbacks, the Carefree Sect forever sleeping alone, jpg, and this and that and the other person falling for our Blade Sister at first sight, the protagonist has no interest in romance, so according to the categories, this should count as no CP. After all, how do you even pair a blade with someone? Unless it's Blood River and Red Sleeve, and there's no turning back.
Theme: The bitterness of meeting, the bitterness of parting, the bitterness of love
