Sunny mermaid bottom vs. cold-faced, scheming supervisor top, strong Alpha/Omega pairing, older top raises younger bottom
Here’s the blurb for this novel. If you like it, please add it to your collection!~
Ye Wuyou is a general guarding the northern frontier of the Jing Dynasty. Forced by his Kun body’s needs, the usually sensible general follows the military doctor’s advice and drags a handsome Qian young master into a brothel.
That night, red candles glow in the bridal chamber, and their scent-marking pheromones mingle.
The general grips the beauty’s hand, sweating profusely. “Once I win the battle, I’ll come back and marry you.”
Blindfolded and with his ears plugged, the beauty only manages to make out: “Even if you beat me to death, I’ll come back and take liberties with you again.”
The beauty nearly grinds his back teeth to dust.
Two days later, the emperor returns to the palace and flies into a rage. According to Eunuch Gao, who attends him personally, the emperor was visiting incognito when he accidentally attracted the attention of a flower-picking bandit.
The emperor issues an edict ordering a thorough investigation.
The capital is thrown into a panic. Everyone fears that if the emperor is displeased, he’ll pin the baseless charge of being a flower-picking bandit on them.
The northern frontier is vast and far away, and the general has already made a fast getaway. The edict arrives late, and the military advisor who receives the order to investigate the flower-picking bandit drags the military doctor along and drops to his knees before the general, trembling.
Military advisor: General! You must take good care of the imperial heir in your belly!!!
Military doctor: General! Whether we live or die depends on the little prince in your belly!!!
“...?”
“Say that again?”
The general packs his bags in a daze, yelling that he’s going to hide among the northern barbarians.
The enemy general, who has fought Ye Wuyou for three years: Ye Wuyou is pretending to surrender! Watch out for an ambush! Retreat at once!
Ye Wuyou wins without a fight, his fame soaring as the news reaches the imperial capital.
The emperor catches the familiar trace of a scent on the military report.
At last, the flower-picking bandit’s identity is coming to light. The emperor smiles knowingly.
“Attendants, prepare for my personal campaign.”
[Reading Guide]
One-on-one, older top, both virgins. The plot and characters serve the romance between the leads.
Ancient Chinese ABO setting: A is Qian, B is Zedui, and O is Kundi.
Not a political power struggle, lighthearted style~
Set in a fictional world. The author is clueless, so please forgive the nonsense plot, w.
A younger-generation age-gap couple is briefly mentioned to advance the main plot, but they won’t get a detailed storyline.
Important: The general is a dashing young general, not a tough, muscular bottom. His Majesty is a fox who knows how to reel people in (but only Xiao Ye). A beauty doesn’t have to be delicate. His Majesty knows Xiao Ye likes his face, so he keeps deliberately seducing him.
If you like strong pairings and beautiful leads with distinct charms, evenly matched and strong in every way, this is for you. The top can put on an act, but he can’t be weak.
Readers with strong preferences for either role, proceed with caution. This couple is hopelessly lovestruck and spoils each other.

Supervisor vs. mermaid, strong Alpha/Omega pairing, older top raises younger bottom
Qi Lian, son of a level-one executive officer at the Abnormal Affairs Bureau, is an S-class mermaid ability user. He unexpectedly differentiates into an Omega, loses control of his ability, and sleeps with the Alpha supervisor who raised him.
Once he comes to his senses, Qi Lian uses his ability to put the Alpha to sleep, then heads alone into a contaminated zone. Counting the days until his next loss of control, he becomes a contamination hunter.
As an Omega, Qi Lian is terrifyingly strong, but he periodically loses control. Even he can’t say when he might completely lose his reason.
As if things couldn’t get worse, after nearly being split in two by a low-level contaminant, Qi Lian realizes he’s freaking pregnant!
And the baby’s father is glaring at him from not far away, his eyes dark with anger.
Qi Lian: ...
Qin Yan is the director of the Abnormal Affairs Bureau’s research institute. He supervises Qi Lian, an S-class mermaid ability user, but he’s an Alpha with no special ability of his own.
Having no ability is no big deal. Researching drugs to suppress contaminants is also a way to serve the people. But when his research subject differentiates and suddenly loses control, Qin Yan has no choice but to forcibly mark him to suppress the mermaid’s runaway ability.
When he wakes up, his research subject has left behind a farewell letter: “I’m off to the contaminated zone to hack contaminants apart and make a name for myself. Don’t miss me!”
Qin Yan is so furious that he awakens an ability.
Without a word, Qin Yan accepts a mission and heads for the contaminated zone. There, from a distance, he sees the little menace he raised with such care nearly lose his life to a contaminant!
The little menace even shouts at him: “Didn’t you say you had no ability? What are you doing here?!”
Qin Yan grabs Qi Lian by the wrist and gives a cold laugh. “What do you think? My Omega ran off, my home is gone, my research subject quit, so I lost my job, and now I’ve awakened an ability. If I don’t go out on missions, who will?”
Later, after learning Qi Lian is pregnant, Qin Yan expressionlessly chops three high-level contaminants in half. The squad behind him trembles with fear.
Squad member: Captain Qin, you’re not going to chop us in half too, are you?
Qi Lian: Don’t worry, I’ve got him under control!
Squad member: That’s even more worrying!
[Mini-scene]
Once everything is settled, Qin Yan drags Qi Lian back to A City.
The news quickly reaches Qi Lian’s family.
The parents: Our son is back?
The parents again: What do you mean, our grandson is back too?!
Qi Lian: Haha, surprise! Your son gave you a big, chubby little mermaid grandson!
Qin Yan gets straight to the point: Dad.
The parents: ???
#So your son, who was sent to your research institute at the age of seven to help suppress contamination, got pregnant as soon as he differentiated?!#

It's so funny, the little oil bottle has turned into a little claypot rice.

All read! Let me comment. Those who want to read the advantages and disadvantages of this book and are still hesitant can also read here [Cat's Claw]~
I think this book is okay. I just want to read about young couples posting about their daily routine during pregnancy. The pace of the whole book is okay except for the extra chapters. It is urgent where it should be and slow where it should be. The emotional line is also very sweet and there is no abuse throughout. It is my favorite type.
However, there will be logic problems and some bugs in the plot line, but since the plot line is only a little bit, it is okay. It will be over quickly without thinking about it after turning two pages. If the logic of the text is very high, I still recommend reading other books. This book is a type that is very enjoyable to read without thinking. In my opinion, there is no problem with the emotional line, and the writing style is also average.
However, I suggest that the author use less words like "Jinjiang", which is really jarring. Once or twice is okay, but if there are too many, you might as well use ellipses instead. I was immersed in the writing when the writing was good, but the word "Jinjiang" immediately broke my heart. I was even a little annoyed when I saw it later.
Another problem is typos. If my tolerance for typos is 10, I would give it 2.5 Points. There are not many, but I still hope that my wife can catch them when she has time, because in my impression, typos are more common in the front or in the middle, and there are basically none in the back.
The article I have been following for a long time has ended like this [burst crying]
Finished scattering flowers [spreading flowers] [spreading flowers] [spreading flowers] [spreading flowers] [spreading flowers] [spreading flowers] hhhhh The little oil bottle has perfectly inherited Xiaoye's love for beauty [bad smile]
Damn, I really want to read the article about this setting [Star Eyes]
So cute (speaking of which, is there really no rainy and dew period...)
