Yao Huaixu was shot by an arrow and bled without stopping. Qiao Yaoyao cried her eyes out. She pressed her hand to the wound, but blood still seeped between her fingers. The girl was so frightened she went cold all over, stammering so badly she could barely get her words out.

Then, without warning, she heard someone call her "Miss Qiao Yuan." It was a man's voice.

With tears still clinging to her lashes, she opened her eyes and looked at the mute elder sister she'd shared a bed with. Her lips moved, but the voice that came out was unmistakably male. She was so stunned she forgot to cry.

Yao Huaixu: Actually... I have a secret to tell you.

Qiao Yaoyao: I don't want to hear it!

Yao Huaixu: I'm a man...

Qiao Yaoyao: Aaaaaah! I said I don't want to hear it!
