He made two mistakes: one cost him two years, the other ten.

He and Min Sheng were classmates in elementary school. He was the child of a cleaner, while Min Sheng was the boss's son. He hated Min Sheng's sugary, ingratiating face, but from then on, he had birthday presents. Gifts were something he had never dared to hope for.

Min Sheng became an idiot and kissed him. He was disgusted and kicked him away.

Min Sheng's mother died, his father ran off, and he disappeared too.

Min Sheng found his way home and became his little sworn brother, his last family member.

But this little brother couldn't bear to be alone. He insisted on sleeping beside him and kept sneaking kisses when he thought no one was looking.

He brought a woman home, and Min Sheng poured a basin of cold water onto the bed, crying that he didn't want him to do that with her.

He got drunk and grabbed Min Sheng with both hands and feet, demanding that he repay him for all his "good deeds."

His sexuality had gone off the rails, and he couldn't let Min Sheng go off the rails too.

Min Sheng was an idiot. What could he possibly understand?

He did everything he could to send Min Sheng away, only to spend the rest of his life regretting it. Only then did he realize that he was the real idiot, through and through.

The top is genuinely an idiot!! He won't recover. The two of them really do have it rough. Basically, it's a story about a migrant worker supporting an older man in his retirement.
