Sword and Knight is a traditional Western fantasy leveling game with a male protagonist. The hero, Seth, rises from commoner to great knight, eventually slaying the evil dragon threatening the kingdom and becoming a hero revered by all.
As they say, sacrifice your teammates and your power becomes limitless. Growth and adventure always require a few sacrifices to give the protagonist greater strength of heart.
"Dear Shirley Cromwell, you are the princess of the Kingdom of Aston, a sacrifice held hostage in fairy tales to secure peace between nations. Your knight is on his way to rescue you. Please wait patiently, and don't let the dragon eat you before he arrives!"
Su Xueli had planned to play the female protagonist's route, but transmigrated into the game and became a doomed princess instead.
As the daughter of the former empress, the uncared-for Princess Shirley is destined to be sacrificed to the evil dragon once every hundred years.
Shirley meets the knight hero by chance and helps him out. When he learns that she has been abducted by a dragon, he sets off on an adventure.
But unlike the usual princess-and-knight stories, the game's heroine isn't Shirley. She's an ordinary girl the knight meets on his quest to rescue the princess. Shirley is merely a "spiritual sacrifice" for the knight, destined to die at a crucial moment and awaken his potential.

To stay alive, Su Xueli gets an idea and sets her sights on the powerful, wicked black dragon.

The evil dragon Crossel abducted a human girl.
As usual, fragile humans who entered a dragon's territory would wail and throw tantrums, then starve themselves to death in terror.
An evil dragon must offer human blood as a sacrifice to gain a powerful heart. But the humans sent as sacrifices died too quickly, and Crossel had yet to complete the ritual even after several centuries.
In the fourth century, the princess of the Kingdom of Aston arrived at the evil dragon's castle.
Crossel had never seen a princess like her. He remarked without expression, "Reckless, stupid, greedy, gluttonous... Don't touch my horns."
