After a fight to the death with her nemesis, the demon king Yu Xianyue became a newborn kitten demon in the cultivation world.
Then, still naive about the world, she was mistaken for a stray cat by her nemesis, Lu Chentan, who took her home, made her a lucky cat at his rundown tavern, and forced her to sign an unfair work contract.
Before the contract expired, Lu Chentan suddenly disappeared from her world.
Five hundred years later, a little demon asked the great Nine-Tailed Spirit Cat of their clan, “Your Excellency is already a demon lord in your own right. Why are you still looking after this shabby shop?”
Yu Xianyue: “I was young and couldn't read back then, so I accidentally signed a predatory contract.”
She hadn't had the heart to tell anyone that by the time she learned to read, she had realized the contract was actually a marriage contract.
Until one day, the Sword Venerable of the cultivation world came to her door, carrying a contract marked with a little cat paw print.
