According to the plot, the girl, mistakenly believing he's a girl, gets wildly jealous. After plenty of explaining and back-and-forth, the two lovers finally get together, and Lin Nuo, the useful tool, can make his graceful exit.

But in reality, the girl doesn't get jealous or fight with his roommate at all. Instead, she sends Lin Nuo a private message:

[If I carry you up the ranks, will you really wear a little dress?]

Lin Nuo's brain short-circuits. What does that mean?

What happens next leaves Lin Nuo even more dumbfounded.

Not only does the girl often invite him to play, but she's even better than his roommate. Before long, she's carried him into the top ten on the server.

Wow. Impressive.

Even more impressive, Lin Nuo discovers that the girl is actually the esports star he's supposed to win over, while his roommate is a fake.

Lin Nuo, who pursued the wrong person, falls apart.

"So, can you wear a little dress for me now?"

As the sworn enemy tries to prove it by recreating the scene with the rich heir, the heir miraculously regains his memory.

In the end, the rich heir and his sworn enemy get together, while Lin Nuo, the con artist, makes a sorry exit.

But when the sworn enemy sees him deceiving the rich heir, he doesn't reveal the truth. Instead, he corners Lin Nuo in a dark room, grips his delicate throat, and says icily:

"I hear you're beautiful when you cry. Let me see you cry. Make me happy, and I won't expose you as a fraud."

Lin Nuo, desperate to quit the act and exit the story: "..."

Can I just not cry? *Sob.*
