Lu Shu, heir to the Book Sage, recorder of history, and the Time Government's newest Saniwa, is doing a stellar job enforcing the rules today, as always.
When she first started the job, Abe no Seimei personally came to sweet-talk her, saying that if she took over the old citadel, she'd get upgraded newcomer benefits: the rare swords Mikazuki Munechika and Shichiseiken.
Full of confidence, she entered the citadel and found a courtyard full of rusted swords.
"Seimei, when you die, I'll personally nail your coffin shut!"
Lu Shu had no choice but to bind herself to the citadel. And so she acquired:
A five-star tachi who could dismantle the keep with his bare hands,
An impulsive tantou who treated himself like a bomb,
And a wakizashi attendant who kept sneaking into the Saniwa's bedroom at night, no matter how many times he was scolded.
"My Lord, Lord Mikazuki is steeping Sukuna's fingers in tea again!"
"Tell him those are thousand-year-old pickled foot calluses, "
As Lu Shu began her cross-era job, she also worked hard to tame this pack of gloomy, unhinged sword spirits.
In Heian-kyo, she recorded the King of Curses' activities, and swapped his food for sashimi made from cursed spirits while he was eating;
In the Warring States period, she watched the Demon King disguise himself as a noble young man, then kicked him into a pit in the Ubuyashiki family cemetery;
In the modern era, she waited for Brain to bustle around preparing to turn all humanity into sorcerers, then helped Jujutsu High seal him inside the Prison Realm.
Her swords had different opinions on this.
"My Lord, you mustn't interfere with history!"
Lu Shu: "? Who was just shoveling dirt into that pit?"
Reader's Guide:
1. All the sword spirits are gloomy. The premise is that a dark citadel is healed.
2. The heroine is righteous, but due to the nature of her role as Book Sage, she sometimes lets people die without saving them.
3. The heroine is incredibly strong.
Theme: Love can cross the darkness.
