And the only one who keeps charging into the fray is Le Changxia, who has already grown used to Shen Qi's cold shoulder: Lovesick Admirer Number One.

Looking at the System's lovesick admirer missions, Le Changxia nods, certain they'll be a piece of cake. He picks up his character again and starts going through the motions.

All he has to do is complete:

1. Pursue the love interest as a lovesick admirer in the early stages

2. Become the love interest's partner in the middle stages

3. Get dumped in the later stages

Then his mission will be over, and he'll get his own happy ending!

Le Changxia goes through the motions while daydreaming about a bright future.

Meanwhile, Shen Qi receives love letters copied from classical poems, bouquets of discounted flowers, and even has his own homework returned under some flimsy excuse?!

Shen Qi's fury burns bright.

But... when you think about it, only one of the love letters Le Changxia sent was copied from a classical poem, and the battered bouquet was one he'd desperately protected while being bullied...

When it rains, he worries Shen Qi will get wet. When there's a fight, he worries Shen Qi will get hurt.

Seeing Le Changxia's pitiful expression, Shen Qi's heart softens. Fine. If he likes me that much, let's give dating a try.

When Le Changxia reaches the later part of the storyline, he waits and waits, but Shen Qi never breaks up with him. Desperate to finish the mission, he blurts out the breakup himself.

The campus message board explodes when Young Master Shen gets dumped by his admirer in front of everyone in the broadcast room.

While everyone gossips about whether Le Changxia will survive this,

Shen Qi is already standing outside his house in the rain, clutching a pile of love letters. His eyes and clothes are drenched as he asks, "And what about these? Do they not count anymore?"

In the luxury car on their outing, Shen Qi is parking when Le Changxia suddenly slips his hand under Shen Qi's shirt and presses it against his lean waist.

System: Hmm, not bad.

Shen Qi freezes, then turns with a dark expression. He sees Le Changxia pretending to admire the scenery, his ear tips bright red. Shen Qi's lips move. He grits his teeth, but says nothing.

He only felt that one day, this little dog had suddenly grown bold, a light shining in his eyes that had never been there before.

He might have started to like him a little.

His confident online romance crashes and burns, and Xu Xiheng worries that he might have hurt Pu Yu's feelings too badly.

His friend says, "A straight guy being too soft-hearted is a major no-no."

But Xu Xiheng thinks, who ever said you can't stay friends after breaking up over an online romance?

So he turns around, slings an arm over Pu Yu's shoulder, and says, "Bro."

Pu Yu: ...

They can be friends, but Xu Xiheng is a straight guy who doesn't know his own strength.

When his club needs members, he drags Pu Yu in. When he needs someone to play a game with, he calls Pu Yu. Even when looking for a seat in class, he thinks of Pu Yu. And when he's feeling cheeky, he calls him "big brother" in a way that's almost flirtatious.

Whenever Pu Yu gets a message from Xu Xiheng, he gets a headache.

Who could have guessed that later, on a large bed at Pu Yu's house, someone would be forced to state his position once again...

"Say it again. Bro, or husband?"

Xu Xiheng suppresses his embarrassment and calls out, "Hu... husband."
