The Master of Spirits Is a Tabby Cat

Completed: Using Superpowers to Play Tennis Counts as Cheating, Right? Currently Updating: The Sunny and Cheerful Saniwa, But a Wandering Honmaru. [Cat, just a cat, a tabby cat, the Emperor Cat of the Honmaru] [*Perspective and worldview lean nonhuman*] [Slice of life, becoming an immortal is hard. A tabby cat with tattooed paws works diligently to build a flower-filled Honmaru.] Back in the cat's hometown, becoming a spirit after the founding of the country is forbidden, so the cat came out here to make something of itself before going home. But just like people said about the scam with the comforter, the cat had barely pressed its paw down before the contract was snatched away. Then the cat was surrounded by sword-wielding spirits. Here's the important part: the spirits here are nothing like the mountain lords back home! Every one of them actually has a divine rank, meow!! (Though they're only little gods, unlike the ones back home.) But the cat is a cat demon on the verge of becoming a spirit, so it tries to run straight back home. The people at home said this was a scam with a comforter! They must be after the cat's kidneys! Kitsunezaki: ...Perhaps you should take another look at this initial sword warrior. Yamanbagiri Kunihiro has a legend of slaying demons. He's a spirit blade, you know! Cat: Meow!! Beben: ...Is it because I'm a replica that I'm hated? (Pulls on his white cloak.) As everyone knows, the Government is a legitimate, official organization that exists to protect history. It's been around for many years, so some problems in its staffing are inevitable, but it can't be rotten to the core or people would rise up against it for real. (Except when limited forging fails or event drops don't happen. The Government's a scam! They even make us grind out sweatshop Koushuu gold!) The cat will visit small worlds, but the cat is only a half-cat demon. The cat can't work to support the family, let people pet its fur, let them squeeze its paws, and precisely kick the bucket to change the world's timeline all at once. The Government's saniwa include yokai, humans, half-yokai, ghosts... The working cat spends most of its time with colleagues in the small worlds who send out requests for help when they run into trouble.
