Ye Heng sat on the back of the motorcycle, scared stiff and on edge. His heart pounded with nerves. "Holy crap! Can you slow down?!"

Beneath his dark helmet, Sheng Zefeng grinned. He grabbed Ye Heng's arm and wrapped it around his waist, shouting arrogantly, "If you're scared, hold on tight, Ye Heng!"

Later, Sheng Zefeng insisted that Ye Heng give him a piece of bamboo carving once he had gotten good at it.

Ye Heng teased him for being childish, but kept it in mind. He never expected them to part ways and fall out before he could give it to him.

A few months later, they met again in the city, and Ye Heng discovered that Sheng Zefeng had another side to him.

Ye Heng: "Hey, Mr. Video Creator. Your school club invited me to help with publicity. That was your idea, wasn't it?"

Caught out, the person in question turned his head and said nothing.

Ye Heng kept teasing him. "By the way, I watched your old videos. You don't talk nearly as much in them as you do in person."

Sheng Zefeng: "Tsk. I only talk this much around you. So what? You watched them all and that's the only thing you have to say?"

Ye Heng thought for a moment. "You seem pretty full of yourself."

Sheng Zefeng frowned, about to protest, but Ye Heng smiled again. "But you're pretty handsome, too. You almost had me fooled."

"Well, would you be willing to date me, bro?" Sheng Zefeng suddenly looked up. What Ye Heng saw reflected in those dark eyes caught him completely off guard.
