Even a Saniwa Must Save the World of Detective Conan

In her fifth year as a Saniwa, Jiang Lin receives a new assignment: personally lead the Sword Warriors to Beika Town in 1994 to carry out a mission.

As a child, Rei Furuya encountered inhuman "monsters" and was rescued. He thought it was just a strange dream.

That is, until he learned from his best friend that those people really existed. They belonged to "Kasumi," a secretive government department unknown to the public.

So Rei Furuya thought they would be allies.

But why, on that rooftop that night, was that person pointing a gun at his best friend? His blood-red eyes were cold and indifferent as he said:

"Scotland will die tonight."

Turning from a high school student into a child was a secret Shinichi Kudo absolutely could not let anyone discover.

But that secret had already been exposed. After a man in black forced him to drink poison, Shinichi Kudo's consciousness grew hazy. When he woke, he found himself at his neighbor's door.

Who had taken him there? Were they accomplices of the people who had been following him?

Later, Shinichi Kudo learned the reason.

He had become the target of a group of "inhuman things that should not exist." The people around him, named after swords, and their leader were there to protect him.

"Until we confirm they have stopped treating you as prey, my companions and I will keep protecting you."

Shinichi Kudo ought to have been grateful.

But during one case, the callous attitude one of the members showed toward other civilians left him confused.

Was their mission simply to protect him? Did they only need to ensure his safety, with no need to care about anyone else?

Were they named after swords, and had that made their hearts as cold as weapons?

Killing and saving, choices in complete opposition. The "swords" and their "wielders" were impossible to predict, and their aims impossible to discern.

Yet whenever they were asked, their answer was always unwavering:

[Our goal has never changed.]

1. Lots of original settings, mixed with some elements from other Touken Ranbu works, and some carried over from my previous story. It should still be easy to follow.

2. Mainly Detective Conan, with not much focus on the Honmaru.

3. The timeline is chaotic because of the setting.

4. Rescuing the Police Academy group, and who knows how many others. The Saniwa is acting against orders.
