Rei Furuya's Wonderful Journey Through the Spirit World

After falling into a deep sleep on yet another late night, Rei Furuya woke up in a new world. Amid the cries of Ralts and Snivy, "Ralts, Ralts" and "Taya, Taya," he discovered that he had become a ten-year-old boy. He also learned that he had been caught in the crossfire when the two battling Pokemon hit him in the head with a psychic attack, knocking him unconscious.

Knowing nothing about this new world, Rei used the truth to mislead everyone and disguise himself as an amnesiac child. In the process, he gained two guilt-ridden Pokemon companions.

And so began Rei's quest to discover why he had transmigrated, along with his curious daily life caring for his Pokemon companions.

At last, Rei learned that he, Snivy, and Ralts had appeared there together because they were caught in the aftershock of Dialga and Palkia's attack. When Arceus restored the world, it had overlooked them, a few tiny, unexpected creatures. Although the Organization had not been destroyed and Rei had yet to fulfill his responsibilities in the Conan world, he chose not to disturb the Legendary Pokemon, giving up on returning to the Conan world for the sake of peace in the Pokemon world.

Fate is unpredictable. After Rei gave up on returning to the Conan world, Arceus discovered this visitor from another world and helped him and his Pokemon companions return to the first day he had gone undercover as Toru Amuro. At that time, none of his close friends had died, giving him the chance to change their fates and infiltrate the Organization more effectively.

(Author's note: Rei Furuya, Bourbon, and Toru Amuro are all aspects of Rei Furuya. When Rei fans saw theories about them being separate people or one imitating the others, I was so enraged that I had to write this fic to vent.)
