Shi Yuan was just an ordinary human. She had no parents, struggled to get by, and earned a meager salary. Every day, she made wishes to the stars and moon: if only she could have a home and raise a few pets, her life would be complete.
Then she woke up one day and her wish had come true, but in another world.
There was a shabby little house, three children of unknown species, and not a grain of food in the place. One adult and three children were on the verge of starving to death.
Shi Yuan burst into tears. Can I take this wish back?
Of course not. She could only accept reality. Luckily, there was a forest right across from the shabby house, though people said it was home to wolves, bears, tigers... all kinds of ferocious beasts.
She was going to starve to death anyway, so she could only risk going in to pick some edible wild vegetables and fruit and get through the food crisis first.
Who knew that the very first time she went in, she'd be in terrible danger? A huge wolf had its jaws around her head, drool dribbling onto her hair and body.
Ugh, that's disgusting!!! Shi Yuan screamed inwardly. The drool slid from the top of her head down her face. She squeezed her eyes shut and accepted her fate, but the drool didn't smell bad at all.
A long time passed, and Shi Yuan still hadn't felt any pain. She mustered her courage and cautiously cracked one eye open. The wolf's head was rubbing against her chest. It looked incredibly docile.
After somehow acquiring a wolf, Shi Yuan started thriving in the forest.
The only thing giving her a headache was educating these little ones. How could raising kids be this hard???!!!
Shi Yuan grabbed her hair, on the verge of going crazy. In desperation, she used a smart device she'd found in the forest to look up how to raise a child properly.
But after comparing them with other families' children, she realized that her own kids were the best behaved ones on the internet!
The evolved humans from the remote planet, who called themselves people from a higher-level planet, were stunned by the comparison. They couldn't believe their children were even worse than the kids from a lower-level planet! They all went online to report her, catching the attention of the Supervisory Bureau. After sending people to investigate, the bureau issued a statement saying that Shi Yuan was practically the savior of their interstellar civilization. Not one of the children in her care had a psychological disorder. It was simply incredible.
So the Supervisory Bureau enticed Shi Yuan with benefits to livestream lessons on how to raise children to the people of the interstellar world. Shi Yuan made a fortune from it.
