When You Mistake Me for the Carrot in a Tower Defense Game

Tang Diansu doesn't know what world he has transmigrated to.

Here, people live normally during the day, but when they sleep at night, they're forcibly pulled into the inner world to play a bloody version of "Defend the Carrot."

In the inner world, the land is divided into regions, and one person in each region is chosen to become its anchor. If a monster kills an anchor, the entire region ceases to exist. In the real world, all the people and things in the corresponding area disappear too, leaving nothing but a wasteland.

To survive, some people have developed supernatural powers in the inner world. They do their best to protect the "anchors" and defend their homes.

Later, people discover that the monsters in the inner world were created by an organization called the Witches' Society. They claim they are doing this to create a clean, untainted new world.

And when Tang Diansu transmigrates here, it's his third day as a member of the Witches' Society, and the first day he's chosen as an anchor.

Tang Diansu: ...
