A Science-Driven Romance Plan

This story only uses the demon clan setting, along with a mountain of original worldbuilding. If that bothers you, please don't wander in by accident :-O

This is a multiple-love-interest story, a multiple-love-interest story, a multiple-love-interest story. Important things should be said three times. (Three thousand words a day in December. I'll post a leave notice if anything comes up. Please support the story!)

Kazama Hanaxun is a pure-blooded demon.

He has long black hair and bright blue eyes, a pretty little face, and a refined personality? (Cue the Smurfs theme song~)

But...

Even a demon clan's young master has his troubles. The clan's Hiruko water has been stolen?!

As the next clan leader, entrusted with everyone's hopes, Kazama Hanaxun springs into action!

Following the clues, he heads all the way to Tokyo to investigate where the Hiruko water went.

But why has the clan's Hiruko water ended up in the hands of a black organization? That makes no sense. There must be a mole!

The investigation goes smoothly. He easily strikes up an acquaintance? with a certain silver-haired regional manager in the organization. If you ask for directions the right way, even a Top Killer will take you along and drive you there in a private car~

But things never go entirely smoothly. At the investigation site, he runs into two unlucky cops who have crossed paths with a demon. Well, he has to do a good deed. They're both victims of the Hiruko water, and as the responsible future clan leader, he has to try to save them from their predicament!

And then... he becomes friends with a curly-haired cop and a grinning cop... just kidding.

Making friends is a little bit of a bumpy road, but he still manages to make a few good friends. Though the grinning cop seems to have exceptionally bad luck. Kazama Hanaxun grabs his hand during an explosion, and the next day the man is injured in another explosion and accidentally becomes a test subject for the organization...

What do you do when a friend becomes a demon? Obviously, you take care of it.

Just let him bite you, and he'll become a real demon!

Kazama Hanaxun is delighted with his own cleverness and bravery, thinking everything is going wonderfully. But when he turns around to look...

Why are there so many more people who need to be bitten? Is Tokyo a gathering place for unlucky people or what?!

Well, no choice. Guess I'll have to work a little harder. You two remaining unlucky guys, line up for a bite!

A sweet-looking, innocent, long-haired beauty who hides a dark side, as the bottom VS a currently mysterious top (TBD)

PS:

1. The protagonist is chaotic neutral, neither Black nor Red, but he does save the police academy squad from their canon deaths.

2. Demons look no different from humans in their normal state. When they activate their powers, their hair turns white, their eyes turn gold, and they grow a pair of horns. Their powers grow stronger when they transform into demons, they heal extremely well, and they live longer. Other original worldbuilding will be added and explained in the story. The protagonist is only a demon in certain aspects of his species, with additional original details from the author. The story uses the broad setting of Detective Conan. Only the setting from Hakuoki is borrowed; the plot barely involves the original characters. Please keep this in mind!
