Falling for the Villain Is My Destiny

After Jiang Yu awakens to his own consciousness, he transmigrates into an old-fashioned melodramatic novel called Heartbeat Surrender. The story is mainly about a universally adored love interest being pursued relentlessly by three domineering CEOs.

Every universally adored love interest in a book must have a fixed NPC whose purpose is to make him shine. After all, flowers stand out all the more when set against green leaves.

Cool princes, quirky sprites, gentle and handsome guys, pure college boys... These are all traits that belong to the universally adored love interest.

His support System 818 gave him its full backing, gifting him a manual titled How to Become Your Crush's Favorite Person.

Armed with the manual, Jiang Yu launched a series of moves that were “fierce as a tiger,” only to fail every time.

He tossed the useless manual aside and, determined to win the villain over, pulled out all the stops to make himself impossible to ignore.

First move: pretend to be drunk and fall over, tricking him into coming inside.

Jiang Yu used bottled water to create a bruise, enlarged the photo several times, then sent it along with a pitiful message.

The plan worked. The villain rushed over. “Where's the wound? Pull up your pant leg and let me see.”

Jiang Yu pointed to a bruise about the size of a fingernail. “See? I wasn't lying.”

The villain laughed in exasperation. “That bruise isn't even as big as a hickey. You tell me if that photo was edited.”

“Who says it isn't as big as a hickey?” Jiang Yu replied, perfectly confident. Then he turned the tables: “If you're so sure, prove it.”

The villain's expression darkened. “Fine. I'll prove it to you.”

Second move: life can't be too dull. You have to stir up some passion now and then.

One day, the two of them had a spectacular argument. Somehow, they ended up in bed.

Jiang Yu realized the villain was harder to pin down than a pig at New Year. It took him a lot of effort to hold him in place.

The villain said, “How many times have you lied to me? How many things have you hidden from me? Don't you know? How am I supposed to trust you?”

He jabbed Jiang Yu in the chest, thinking, Why does it feel so soft?

Jiang Yu looked down and said quietly, “You hit the spot...”

At that, the villain quickly pulled his hand back, his blood rushing to his face. “You don't have to say everything out loud. You could've just pretended not to notice.”

Third move: play a heart-fluttering game and make a domineering CEO fall for me.

Jiang Yu suggested they play a heart-fluttering game and said a few things to deliberately provoke the other man. The villain saw through the reverse psychology at once, but there was no denying it worked.

Jiang Yu said with complete seriousness, “If you win, I'll marry you. If I win, you'll marry me. Either way, you get me. How's that for a deal?”

The villain's eye twitched. “...”
