A Match Made in Heaven, ABO

Xie Yihan's father was the renowned Duke of Zhen Guo. Her eldest brother was a Vice Minister of War and the leading candidate to become the next Minister of War. Her second brother was a Hanlin Academy scholar, learned and widely read, and her third brother was a young general. With a background like that, every Kunze in the capital should have been fighting for the chance to marry her.

The trouble was, she had a bad reputation. She was a notorious wastrel in the capital, and despite being old enough to marry, she had no prospect in sight.

By contrast, the two daughters of the Grand Tutor were famous throughout the capital. One was gentle and exceptionally talented, while the other was lively and cheerful. Suitors crowded their door.

Xie Yihan had secretly seen them, too, and had to admit they were beautiful. The younger daughter was especially interesting, but unfortunately, she wasn't interested in Xie Yihan.

Xie Yihan knew her place.

Who could have guessed that one day, an imperial decree of marriage would fall right into her lap? The emperor had arranged for her to marry one of the Grand Tutor's daughters!

At the same time, another imperial marriage decree arrived at the Eastern Palace.

The emperor had arranged marriages for both of the Grand Tutor's daughters: one would marry into the Eastern Palace, and the other would marry a wastrel. The capital was soon buzzing with gossip.
