Xiao Di has known since childhood that her father is the most faithless man in the world. He abandoned her and her mother, and he was a womanizer and a libertine. If his swordsmanship had not been superb, he would have died at the hands of some enemy long ago.
But she does not know who her father is, or what her mother’s identity is beyond being the leader of the Tianzun Organization.
Though Xiao Di has a tragic background, her life is not tragic.
She was arranged to become the disciple of the famed swordsman Bloodclothes, and mastered powerful martial arts at a young age.
Her childhood friend, who grew up with her in Jiangnan, recommended her to take charge of Six and a Half Hall while her father went into seclusion to avoid trouble. Xiao Di’s fame soon took off.
When her friend’s father returned and they fell out, Xiao Di promptly resigned and prepared to go home and inherit the Tianzun Organization.
But her mother told her that as long as her father was still alive, she could forget about inheriting the family fortune.
Armed with the only scraps of knowledge she had about her birth father, Xiao Di set out to find him.
She heard that the Happy Prince loved abandoning his wives and children, so Xiao Di figured he might well be her faithless father.
She was going to kill the Happy Prince.
The Ghost Palace Master and the Thousand-Faced Young Master: Why is someone else trying to steal our kill?
She heard that the greatest swordsman in the world was now her master. Xiao Di wondered if his own children had failed to inherit his true art, while he had taught her everything, because she was practically family.
She returned to the Xue Family Manor with her sword in hand.
Bloodclothes: Aren’t my two wastrel sons enough? Why has my prized disciple started causing trouble for me too?
She heard that the Prince of Zhennan in Dali had a weakness for women, and decided he must be her libertine father.
The Prince of Zhennan: Are you my daughter too? Your mother is...
She heard... Actually, this time she didn’t hear anything. The other party came to her directly. The leader of the Western Demon Cult declared that she was his daughter, and that his son in name was merely a decoy.
Her response was to team up with the fake heir and make off with most of the Demon Cult’s assets. If the cult leader was her father, there was nothing wrong with inheriting the family fortune a little early, right?
Cult Leader Yu: Oh no, I’ve taken this too far.
And the source of all evil, Xiao Di’s real father, had only one thing to say: Don’t come any closer!
