After I Divorced My White Moonlight

Marriage first, love later; a carefully laid plan

During the Shangsi Festival, on a spring outing in the western suburbs outside the city, Xi Yuanjia took one look at the man pouring her wine and fell for him.

He was cold and indifferent, but she was determined to win him over. Over the next three years, she gave him a title and power, helped him rebuild his family's fortunes, and got rid of the people who bullied him.

But he was like a block of iron, impossible to warm no matter how hard she tried.

Three years. Looking back, it had all been utterly pointless.

She had always known when to let go. She left behind a letter of divorce and set off for a political marriage without once looking back.

If all men were the same, what difference did it make whom she married?

Besides, as a princess of Great Zhou, she had enjoyed a life of honor and luxury. If she could devote herself to securing the realm's peace before she died, she would have no regrets.

But it wasn't until she married He Yunsheng that she realized how miserable her life had been before.

Life isn't the same no matter who you spend it with.
