So what if I have no parents?

I can eat and sleep, walk and jump, and even say "please" and "thank you."

So what if I'm lazy and good for nothing?

Modern technology is so advanced. Just pick up the phone and order KFC or Pizza Hut. As long as you've got money, what can't you get delivered? Why worry about going hungry? What a joke.

So what if I have no goals?

Don't old people always say you should keep your head down and know your place? Being too outstanding only invites needless jealousy.

After embracing her own version of the spirit of Ah Q and constantly reassuring herself, Li Xiaomu settled comfortably into life as a shut-in. She lived on the meager rent from the old house her late parents had left her, spending every day with her computer in the single room she rented, living in a drunken stupor. She woke up hungry and completely lost it...
