[Harry Potter] Can a Little Badger Fall in Love with a Lion?

This is a warm, everyday romance, but the war won't be skipped.

Told from the female lead's perspective. Many descriptions of Hogwarts are quoted from the original books, and there are lots of original settings.

Feel free to imagine yourself in the story or ship the characters.

Please note the following:

1. The female lead has her own life and friends. The romance probably won't start until around fifth year. At first they're friends, and George has a one-sided crush.

2. The story involves the main plot, and the characters occasionally take part in it. (I believe the plot will only change if someone interferes with it.)

3. This is the author's first time writing a novella. The plot borrows heavily from the original, and my writing is still unpolished.

4. This story includes the canon pairings Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Cedric/Cho, and Lucius/Narcissa. There will be no BL pairings.

P.S. Fred and Angelina have a few slightly flirtatious moments (but they won't end up together). They both survive and remain single.

*Not your typical Hufflepuff. The female lead's greatest quality is her kindness.

Wake up at the last minute, rush to class with Fred at the last minute, work on new inventions in their secret hideout, have brunch, Quidditch practice, prank Percy, prank the Slytherins who used to look down on them, detention, return to the dorm, wash up, and go to bed.

A day in George Weasley's life after he falls in love:

Wake up at the last minute, rush to class with Fred at the last minute, but sit beside Odelle and score a random breakfast, stop by the secret hideout, work on new inventions, and sneak in some cuddles while Odelle brews potions, drag Odelle to the Gryffindor table for lunch (if that fails, act sulky and stare at the Hufflepuffs while they eat), Quidditch practice, pretend to get injured and go to the Hospital Wing to seek comfort from Odelle, prank Ron, test a new invention on Ron, detention, return to the dorm, wash up, lie in bed looking at the photo under his pillow, then go to sleep.

Theme: Romance should be sweet.
