A Summer Smile

This is our story.

And yet it isn't our story.

The feelings we had back then still seem so real and vivid.

But our story didn't unfold this way.

All the moments we missed, I've rewritten one by one with my pen.

I just hope that, in the world of my imagination, none of us will have any regrets.

I still remember the wish I made while watching the fireworks back then.

I wished for everyone to be well.

For all of you to be doing well.

No matter where you are now.

Later, I wrote a set of lyrics. Yan Ping cut this part when composing the music, but it was the reason I wrote them in the first place.

All you have to do is stand still

Quietly, within my memories

If I turn around and meet you again

It will be like returning to the green days of being sixteen

Let everything stay in 2011. No, actually, everything ended in 2008. Was it right or wrong, for better or worse, to rewrite things on a whim? When I created that new document, how could I have imagined that life and fiction would end up influencing each other?

But since it's a one-way road, let's keep going without looking back.
