Synopsis:
Ye Wan had just graduated from culinary school and was gearing up to open a little restaurant of her own. But before her business license was even ready, she stepped into a strange world of magic.
The good news: Ye Wan inherited a little restaurant hidden in a narrow alley in the main city. With her excellent cooking skills, she could revive the tavern and earn more gold coins and silver moon coins.
The bad news: the little tavern was so dilapidated it looked like a haunted house. The wooden door could be kicked open with ease, and the roof let in the wind.
So she decided to hire an assistant who could double as a bodyguard.
Ye Wan made a special trip to the main city's hiring office and posted a job ad for her little restaurant.
The only applicants were a howling werewolf, a bard who sang terribly, and a goblin who nearly brought the roof down.
In the end, while picking mushrooms in the mountains, she found a badly injured man.
One shouldn't be a bleeding heart, but this blond man was just too handsome.
Besides, through his ragged gray clothes, Ye Wan could make out his eight-pack abs.
Having a free employee with amnesia was simply wonderful. The man immediately repaired the broken roof and wooden door, built a chicken coop in the backyard, then chopped wood and stacked it into a tall pile.
At last, Ye Wan had time to start developing new dishes.
Thick slices of milky bread, toasted over an open flame, topped with rich, juicy tomatoes and basil. Little crispy croutons spread with garlic aioli, served alongside a steaming bowl of creamy mushroom soup.
Chopped pickles mixed with parsley, capers, and chili powder made tartar sauce, perfect with golden, crispy, tender, juicy fried chicken.
The little restaurant grew busier and busier, and its customers grew more and more peculiar.
A witch who was determined to travel the world, but got broomstick-sick...
A beautiful mermaid who sang terribly and was deeply afraid of men: "That Andersen guy made it all up! I'll sue him for defamation! Who would ever like men?"
A werewolf who could take human form under the moonlight, but instead of howling in that form, danced the waltz all night...
Ye Wan often had to go into town to deliver cherry-scented wine to the largest tavern, bring cilantro custard ice cream to the count's wife, and prepare anise almond crisps for the annual festival.
In return, she learned plenty of kingdom gossip, such as how the king had mysteriously disappeared while riding a white horse during a festival.
Lying back in her rocking chair by the fire, Ye Wan laughed and slapped her free employee You An on the shoulder. "Do you think there's something wrong with that king's head? He got lost and disappeared right in the city. I should be queen instead."
You An: "...Yes, there might be something wrong with his head."

Ye Wan was going to the spice shop in the main city to buy wine vinegar and olive oil, but somehow got lost.
She came to the mouth of a dark, silent alley. There was nothing but pale stucco walls and a few heavy walnut beams.
An old woman with a hoarse, raspy voice was huddled in the corner. She called Ye Wan over, saying she wanted to give her a gift.
The woman, shrouded in black gauze, extended a wrinkled hand clutching a bright red, gleaming apple.
Eat it, and you'll stay young forever.
Ye Wan: Auntie, do you take me for an idiot?

It felt like the ending came so quickly. Although it felt fast, I didn't expect it to end so quickly. At the end, Ye Wan and Ye Yu were similar, and the thread that Ye Wan threaded back later was completely incoherent in my mind because of the update, and the final closing was a bit confusing.
