Charlotte Skadi, head of the science division of the Big Mom Pirates.
She's tired of fighting and killing at sea,
and hates war and bloodshed even more.
If she could...
she would like to open a supermarket of her own.
So,
Skadi built a dimension-hopping machine
and added a supermarket management System.
Retirement in another world... Begin!

Sakata Gintoki discovered
that a store had appeared out of nowhere in the village,
along with a strange woman who called herself a pirate scientist.
Teacher Shoyo said it was a supermarket.
But the employees there all seemed a little off.
There was a broke, useless man with a scar at the corner of his mouth,
who stole money from the register to play pachinko.
There was a delinquent, blindfolded badminton player
who snuck sweets from the dessert section.
There was a man with bangs who kept calling people monkeys
and squinting all the time, and plenty more like them.
Gintoki definitely doesn't want to grow up to be a lousy adult like that.
Utsuro, the embodiment of Earth's ley lines, wanted to destroy the planet.
Just as everyone was locked in a desperate battle,
Skadi appeared from who knows where.
"I don't care if you're Shoyo or Utsuro. You owe me all this money, and you think you can just walk away? Dream on!"
She promptly grabbed a broom
and smacked him flying.
The scene fell deathly silent.
Was that right? What about all the hits they'd taken just now? Did that mean they were just good at taking a beating? If she was this strong, why hadn't she shown up sooner?
Skadi: Not at all. I'm just a techie, really.
Please note:
* Inspired by the co-op multiplayer game Supermarket Together on Steam. You don't need to have played it to enjoy the story.
* The early chapters will probably focus on friendship. The romance plot starts during the Joi arc. There will likely be plenty of unrequited crushes, and there will be romance too. The male lead isn't decided yet. Whoever the heroine falls for will be the one.
* The author is sensitive, so there's no need to tell me if you're dropping the story.
* This is mainly a comedy, not a traditional business-management story! The plot will change a lot later. It will focus on everyday life, with no conspiracies or anything like that. The plot will be changed later.
