This Heart Is Not Evil

Demon Lord Ling Jiuwang isn't bad at heart, but the world misunderstands him.

In a nutshell: A reborn Demon Lord meets a sleazy cultivator who preys on men, then makes him work like a beast.

In his past life, Ling Jiuwang was a fearsome and brutal Demon Lord who shook the Three Realms. He tried to overturn and destroy the Immortal Realm by himself, but was outnumbered. Just as he was about to die and have his soul scattered, his master secretly came to his aid, though he had no intention of taking the Demon Lord back to the Demon Realm. So fate led the Demon Lord to the mortal world, where he met another young man...

Ling Jiuwang has been misunderstood by the world for hundreds of years. Everyone trembles at the mere mention of him, but he only ever clashed with the Immortal Realm and never coveted the mortal world. The ones who do evil in the mortal world are all bullies who throw their weight around with powerful backers! Reborn, he decides to clear his name.

After regaining his true form, Ling Jiuwang returns to the Demon Realm, thinking things can finally come to an end. But his elder brother Ling Qixuan, who vanished for hundreds of years, appears again. Ling Jiuwang also discovers that the Immortal Realm is hiding secrets unknown to the world...

P.S.

1. I'll revise and adjust some inaccurate timelines in the story when I have time. Please bear with me!

2. The side stories will include both happy and tragic endings. (I personally prefer tragic endings, but the main characters are guaranteed a happy ending!!!)

I'll keep working hard on the chapters!
