Honest, easygoing heroine who wants to laze around × sweet-talking, coaxing male ghost
The year Su Ting turned twenty-five, she was broke and down on her luck. To avoid sleeping on the streets, she moved into a haunted house.
The rent was cheap, the decor was elegant, the place got plenty of sunlight, and it was far from downtown, away from the noise.
When she moved in, the previous owner tossed her the keys like a hot potato. He gave her a strange look and asked, "Miss, are you sure you aren't afraid of ghosts?"
Su Ting: She was dead broke herself, so what was there to fear?
For the half month since moving in, apart from the occasional noise late at night, this place had been her dream home.
After another exhausting day of being wrung dry by life, Su Ting decided to treat herself in the most primal way possible.
She took a shower, put on some music, and just as the pleasure peaked, her hazy gaze suddenly landed on the sofa across from her.
A young man was sitting there, smiling at her.
His features were so exquisite he looked like a painting. His eyes were clear, and he gazed at her as though she were a fascinating curiosity. Resting his chin on one hand, he gave her a gentle, harmless, almost innocent smile. "You look like you're really enjoying yourself."
"May I ask what it feels like?"
Su Ting froze, her mind going blank. Could she still make a run for it?

Huai Ji had waited for hundreds of years, finally awaiting the girl of legend who could give him flesh and blood again.
All he had to do was make her fall in love with him.
An evil ghost knew nothing of love. He knew only how to deceive.
He put on a tender, sweet facade and watched her like a little animal that had wandered into a trap.
Her flustered reactions, her embarrassment, her affection: it was all so fresh and amusing. He coaxed her into falling into the carefully woven spiderweb of love.
Arrogance was the worst of vices. Huai Ji thought he wasn't afraid of losing her, and kept up their fragile lie simply because life was boring.
Until the lie fell apart.
Su Ting didn't cry or demand answers. She calmly announced it was over, then packed her bags that very night, ready to move out.
The overwhelming terror of being abandoned instantly shattered the evil ghost's last scrap of pride. All his schemes turned into desperate pleas.
He bent his haughty back and buried his face against Su Ting's stomach in a posture so humble it was almost degrading. His slightly raised eyes were dark and clouded.
"I'm rotten to the core. I'm no good."
"You can hit me, you can curse me, just don't leave me."
P.S.:
1. The male lead is very much a ghost, and he's not right in the head. At first, he coaxes the heroine into falling for him. He seems gentle, but is actually ill-natured and arrogant.
2. There's a little chasing-the-wife-to-the-crematorium drama. This insecure, scheming male ghost will use every means at his disposal to win the heroine back, and loves to act pitiful and beg for sympathy.
3. This isn't a strong, independent heroine story. The male lead won't let go and will cling to her throughout. If you can't handle a sticky, impossible-to-shake candy of a man, don't read this.
4. The male lead is in the psychologically submissive position.
