How can the love between a ferocious beast and a god ever have a happy ending? Testing each other time and again, trusting each other time and again: what are you really afraid of? Loving someone you cannot have, or being utterly destroyed?
A gloomy, tsundere catlike beast shou x a gentle but cunning sea god gong. Note: This is a pure romance, so the relationship develops very slowly. They do not get together until about halfway through Volume One. Both are powerful (though there may also be a little strong shou, weak gong?).
Most of the story is set in a fictional world, so please do not take it as fact. The shou's identity is inspired by Fei, one of the Ten Great Ferocious Beasts in the Classic of Mountains and Seas.
