I'm Really Not the Police Force's Shining Star

Kitagawa Ryuusei, a provisional executive of the Port Mafia, woke up in a strange world and discovered that he was about to enroll in the police academy. Kitagawa Ryuusei: Seriously?? Can a Mafia guy really be a good cop?? Then he met five fellow cadets who were a real handful. One looked more terrifying than him (apparently), one was more destructive than him (or so he thought), and one was more stubborn than him (probably)... Maybe it wasn't impossible after all? Believing that you should love whatever job you're in, Kitagawa Ryuusei declared, “I'm sorry, Boss! I'm switching sides and becoming a cop!” Aside from two of his fellow cadets going missing after graduation, Kitagawa Ryuusei was very satisfied with his exciting career in Tokyo. He used his superpower to stir up trouble (crossed out) and made a name for himself in the police force, earning the title of [Star of the Police Force]. Leading a team of subordinates, he raced ever farther down a road with all the style of the Port Mafia. Until one criminal organization sent a blond young man to try to get information about him. Kitagawa Ryuusei: ...Zero, that smile of yours is terrifying. Saving people from their untimely deaths, blowing up distilleries, and giving the black-clad Organization goons a taste of the Port Mafia! [Before You Read:] 1. Here's a preview of another upcoming story *Furuya Is the Cat at My Honmaru* Kiyohara Toru, the Saniwa of Honmaru No. 4869, had so much spiritual power that his body couldn't handle it, leaving him bedridden with a chronic illness. With no energy to spare, he left the running of the Honmaru to the swords, and was too exhausted to deal with their infighting. If things continued like this, the Honmaru risked falling to corruption. Then one day, Kiyohara Toru brought a dying Siamese cat home from outside the Honmaru and insisted on caring for it himself. The problem was solved in no time. The Siamese was sweet and well-behaved around Kiyohara Toru, its disguise flawless. Around the sword warriors, it showed no mercy and didn't even bother pretending. It turned the Honmaru upside down all by itself, and with Kiyohara Toru indulging it, successfully drew all the attention of the sword fanatics. Kiyohara Toru: “Siamese cats are naturally lively, cough, cough... Besides, Bourbon is already being so good and holding himself back.” Siamese Bourbon: (looks up and meows sweetly) (turns around and smiles wickedly) The sword warriors: “...” There's no time to fall to corruption. We have to band together and expose this devious cat's true nature! You scheming cat, stay away from our Aruji!! * After going down with the Organization's Boss, Furuya became a cat and landed in Honmaru No. 4869. He learned that it was a place capable of changing the flow of time. If he could get his hands on the thing called a time-space converter, he could go back to before it all began and save his four friends and the other comrades who had sacrificed themselves because of the Organization. He was willing to pay any price. But Furuya now faced three problems What was a time-space converter, and how did the thing work? How could he steal it with a hundred or so sword fanatics watching him like hawks? ...And the frail young man known as the Master absolutely could not die before Furuya succeeded. After much deliberation, Furuya decided to use his strongest weapon, the honey trap, and win over the Honmaru's master, Kiyohara Toru. How hard could it be to act cute, roll around, and rub against someone's palm? With his professional skills, even disguised as a cat, he could be the most charming and emotionally rewarding cat in the Honmaru! But one ordinary night, a man and a cat cuddled up together for warmth and fell asleep. The next morning, Furuya woke up holding the young man in his arms. Kiyohara Toru: ?! Furuya, who had just transformed into a person, felt terribly guilty. “...If I say it was an accident, will you believe me?” * Bourbon had a pretty-boy companion who coughed three times with every step he took, yet was well protected and never took part in the Organization's affairs. Everyone saw him as the weakness of that mysterious man, but no matter how hard they tried, they couldn't uncover his origins. Vermouth: “We are angels and demons. We must resist the flow of time and bring the dead back to life.” Kiyohara Toru: “Got it. You're the Time Retrograde Army.” Reading Guide: 1. The protagonist is sickly and scheming.
