Zou Ji's remonstrance to King Qi went like this:

Those who point out my faults to my face shall receive the highest reward;

those who submit written remonstrances shall receive the middle reward;

those who criticize me in public and let me hear of it shall receive the lowest reward.

That's my attitude toward life, too. No matter how you do, I'll reward you.

The most unexpected thing in the world is falling ill. For me, the most unexpected thing was deciding to become an idol.

Lin Yiyao was born on September 9, 1999, in Shenzhen, Guangdong, and later moved with his parents to Dongguan.

One day in October 2004, Lin Yiyao suddenly became conscious.

From that day on, he started learning the local dialects, but gave up once he started school.

Life's turning points came quickly, too. When his grandfather fell ill in the year he turned seven, the whole family went back to their hometown to visit. They found the elderly couple living like left-behind seniors, so they stayed behind to look after them, leaving the children behind in the city.

Lin Yiyao also returned to Guangxi to study. He had already reached second grade in Guangdong, so he should have continued with second grade after returning home.

But he did so well on the entrance test that the teacher suggested he skip a grade, so he went straight into third grade.

In 2010, eleven-year-old Lin Yiyao discovered his first idol group, Bigbang. He couldn't tell the members apart, couldn't understand the songs, and couldn't watch their performances, but the music videos opened his eyes to a whole new world.

In his young heart, a third possible career appeared: idol.

The first two were teacher and soldier.

That dream came true in his second year of middle school. In October 2011, Lin Yanyao passed YG's online audition.

But in 2013, he debuted under Big Hit after all.

The reason was simply that he wanted to debut sooner, and he'd been told, "Our boy group can take care of itself just like Bigbang, and if you come over, I'll give you a solo debut next year."

So tempting! Time to switch agencies~

I got scammed, damn it.
