[The author can't handle the dual plotlines right now, so they're on hold for the time being. I've revised the outline from beginning to end. See you in 2026. "Drops to knees" I'm sorry.]
Someone asked Ye Ziqin, "What would you do if the characters you wrote came to life?"
Ye Ziqin: "Isn't that obvious? I'd spoil him rotten!"
Who could have guessed that his words would come true?
Only, the one who appeared before him wasn't the gentle, kind protagonist. It was Wen Jinyu, the first and most unhinged villain he'd ever written! Ye Ziqin's entire worldview crumbled to pieces.
Even more terrifying, he would sometimes get pulled into his own book, where he had to face a younger, "pure and innocent" Wen Jinyu.
And so Ye Ziqin was forced into a split-personality routine:
In the real world, he faced the villainous big shot, a possessive, obsessive yandere.
Ye Ziqin, trembling and humbly trying to survive: "I'll buy the food, I'll get a new place, and the bed... I'll leave half of it for you!"
Inside the book, he faced the pitiful, fragile, guileless "little white rabbit" Wen Jinyu.
Ye Ziqin, fussing over him and giving him a loving hug: "A Yu, are you thirsty? Hungry? Sleepy?"
He thought that if he could give the younger Wen Jinyu a warm ending, he could heal the battered madman in the real world. He carefully tried to make up for every loss, hoping to nurture a pure white flower with love and kindness.
He knew it was dangerous, but time and again, his seemingly unintentional moments of tenderness made him cross the line. He willingly let the wolf, who had been plotting this for a long time, devour him, skin and bone.
In the dead of night, hot breath brushed his neck. A pair of arms wrapped tighter around him from behind, and a satisfied murmur sounded by his ear: "Gege, this time... do you still want to push me away?"
Bonus scene:
In the dead of winter, snow fell thick and fast.
After a few seconds of inner struggle, Ye Ziqin, bundled up from head to toe, decisively took off his scarf and wrapped it around the lightly dressed man in front of him.
Nice try. You're dressed so lightly because you want me to "love" you, aren't you?
To his surprise, the bastard immediately stopped and turned around, his whole body radiating menace as he glared at him. "So you finally can't keep up the act and want to kill me?"
[Author bottom, whose villain has turned his worldview upside down x gloomy villain top who crawled out of a book]
Reader's notes:
1. Neither lead is perfect, and both are in a questionable state of mind.
2. This story is all about romance. The plot may have logical holes or feel disjointed, and it will be revised later.
3. Hope you enjoy reading.
