Reincarnating in another world and experiencing a new life.
It sounds great, if not for the fact that she lives in Konoha, her surname is Uchiha, the clan leader has left the village, and someday the entire clan is doomed to die.
Fortunately, Uchiha Kotori finally gets her golden finger.
It's incredibly powerful. Upgrading ninjutsu, skills, and the Sharingan is all within reach, and even acquiring Wood Release might be possible. The catch is that she has to clear routes, max out her bonds, and achieve a perfect happy ending before she can claim the rewards.
But is that the golden finger's fault? Clearly, she just hasn't tried hard enough!
So Uchiha Kotori confidently charges in, only to get hit so hard her vision goes black.
On her first playthrough, her companion is gentle, reliable, beautiful, and good-tempered. But his name is Izuna, and according to the history of her world, he'll die after giving up his eyes.
On her second playthrough, her companion is warm, outgoing, affectionate, and powerful. But his name is Hashirama, and according to the history of her world, he'll suffer a falling-out with his closest friend.
On her third playthrough, her companion is cheerful, loves to smile, and has a little curl of hair. She doesn't recognize him, but she knows he's descended from her parallel-world cousin, so Kotori relaxes.
Until he unlocks the Mangekyo Sharingan. The words "Kotoamatsukami" make her jolt upright on the brink of death: this kid is that unlucky Uchiha who gouged out his own eye and jumped into the Naka River!
And then there are the fourth, fifth... and who knows how many other difficult love interests.
Uchiha Kotori puts on a pained expression. After finally clearing every route, she looks at her character profile and bursts into tears of joy.
It's finally over. Can she have her happy ending in this world now?
Just then, her golden finger unlocks a new module called the "Fate Treasure Chest."
The hidden treasure chests from each completed route appear before her, and the bond meter at the bottom is overflowing.
The chest opens. Space and time shatter. Long-held obsessions cross the sea of stars, and friends from other worlds appear before her, smiling as they call her name.
This might be a happy thing.
If only the people from her own world weren't pointing at the arrivals, who look just like their counterparts, and asking her what on earth is going on.
Uchiha Kotori: ...
#Great, the world gets a happy ending, but I might get a bad ending myself, huh?#
#Father, I'm telling you tonight that I'm saying sayonara, okay?#
1. An all-romance, universally adored Mary Sue story. No male lead in the main story; side stories have separate endings.
2. Characters may be out of character, the story is slow to heat up, logic is dead, there are lots of original settings, and parallel-world IF routes are all thrown together. The timeline has been chewed up and swallowed. The goal is a happy ending.
3. Inspired by the roguelike game mode in Arknights. You don't need to play it to enjoy the story.
4. That's probably all. I'll add more if I think of anything else, OvO.
Theme: Love and peace.
