Surviving the Apocalypse: Starting at Sea

(Updates return to normal on 7/15!) Blurb: [Survival at sea + infrastructure building + farming + daily life] Just as Ye Ran was in the middle of an important life event, a gigantic countdown suddenly appeared before her eyes. Before she could react, a soft, mechanical voice rang in her ears. [Selected survivors, please prepare immediately. When the 10-minute countdown ends, you will be transported to a new world to survive.] While Ye Ran was still bewildered, a small wooden box appeared in her hand by itself. When she opened her eyes again, countless survivors were already stranded in an endless sea. The only things keeping them afloat were a crude raft made of four 1-by-1-meter pieces of wood and plastic floaters, and a plastic hook in each person's hand. Survival in the new world was incredibly harsh. Resources were scarce, and danger lurked everywhere. Expanding and reinforcing rafts, making tools and weapons, and gathering supplies became the survivors' top priorities. Once they reached land, the struggle over resources made everyone realize that the old civilization was gone. If they wanted to survive, they would have to adapt to the new world's cruel, merciless rules. Perhaps the new world didn't want humanity to die too quickly, because some people gained special abilities. These included, but weren't limited to, doubled luck, food with stat bonuses, and more effective medicine. Ye Ran was one of them, and her ability was... "Bouncing Back from Rock Bottom": Once she reaches the limits of human endurance, the resources she is currently obtaining are doubled. The higher the limit, the greater the multiplier. Ye Ran: ? Had working overtime driven her crazy? Wasn't this a wage slave ability? * As her ability leveled up and her raft expanded, she finally witnessed the grand spectacle of a hundred people chopping trees and a thousand people mining. The mysteries of the new world gradually began to clear. It turned out the new world, formed by the fusion of multiple survival games, already had its own inhabitants. They were the rulers of the sea. One day, sensing a disturbance on the ocean's surface, they emerged from the deep sea as its masters and quietly observed the "invaders" who had inexplicably appeared in their territory. Would they fight, or coexist peacefully? The new world awaits the choice of every living creature. Theme: Respect life and strive to live
