After the Stutterer Came to Terms with Things, They All Regretted It

1. Lin Lin has always known a secret.

His biological parents got the wrong child and brought someone else's kid home to the Lin family.

But he doesn't mind. He knows his parents still have no idea, and that if he tells them the truth, they'll treat him well.

But he's a timid stutterer, and whenever he tries to speak, he sees the look of disgust in his parents' eyes. Before he can get a word out, they tell the fake young master, "Son, your mom and dad are off to work. Stay home and behave."

Once again, Lin Lin fails to tell them the truth.

One time, he happens to hear his parents telling the fake young master in their room, "You're just too naive. That poor kid is always sucking up to your dad and me. Can't you see what he's after? He's got his eye on our money and wants to stay here forever."

It takes him one night to come to terms with everything. He leaves, dragging along the few belongings he has.

The parents he had always hoped would come looking for him spend the rest of their lives unable to coax him back, because he finds somewhere better to be.

His future husband takes him home.

For now, his husband is still a cold-faced overbearing CEO. Pointing at the stinky tofu on Lin Lin's stall, he says coldly, "Even dogs won't eat this stuff."

Later, the dogs can't get any. It all ends up in the CEO's mouth.

2. Everyone knows the heir to Kyoto's Yan family has a rare illness: a severe allergy that leaves him covered in blisters if anyone touches him. At his worst, he nearly went into shock.

But one day, they see with their own eyes the cold-faced CEO, who's allergic to human touch, sitting by a grimy little street stall, happily indulging the young man who struggles just to get his words out.

When a sworn enemy shows up at the stall to laugh at the CEO, that stuttering kid chases him all the way to his front door and curses him out for three whole days. Even the stray cats and dogs give the place a wide berth, afraid they'll get cursed out too.

The sworn enemy is so scared he flees overseas and doesn't dare return.

Later, people see the little stutterer run out of the CEO's house in tears. Everyone assumes the CEO has gotten tired of him and dumped him.

But then the CEO runs after him, drapes a thick down coat over his shoulders, and coaxes, "Put this on first. You can be mad once you're warm."
