Devoted, obsessive, fatherly CEO top (32 years old × 17 years old, two timelines running in parallel) × sunny, healing office-worker bottom
When recent graduate Cheng Yu'an hit a dead end in the cutthroat job market, he suddenly received a million-yuan-a-year job offer seemingly tailored just for him.
His handsome, wealthy, considerate boss had him falling head over heels. Then one day, Cheng Yu'an discovered he was nothing more than a stand-in for the boss's beloved first love, someone who could be dismissed with money.
Cheng Yu'an had a sudden wicked thought: This faithful believer promises to eat a proper balance of meat and vegetables for life. Please, gods, grant my wish and let me keep the salary, but take that annoying boss away!
When he woke up, Cheng Yu'an saw a seventeen-year-old Lu Tan lying beside his pillow, kicking him with an impatient look on his face. "Who are you? Why are you in my bed?"
Cheng Yu'an was ecstatic. My wish really came true?! The annoying boss has turned into a little kid. Now I can do whatever I want with him!
He rushed into the office, only to see Mr. Lu sitting in the boss's chair, looking at him coldly. "You remembered to come to work? Have you finished comforting your little sweetheart?"

He tried to take charge, but instead got double-teamed.
Mr. Lu pinned him to the living room sofa, keeping a close eye on the shut bedroom door from the corner of his eye. He taunted him, "You're my personal assistant. Tell that brat to stop taking up all your time every single day."
Seventeen-year-old Lu Tan sneered through the crack in the door. "Hah. The old man can only threaten you and make you work overtime until you drop dead. Unlike me, I'm young, I last longer, and I know better how to make you feel good."
Cheng Yu'an: I've learned my lesson. Please let me go.jpg
One day in his senior year of high school, Lu Tan woke up to find an unfamiliar boy lying beside him. That boy lit up his dreary youth like a shooting star, then disappeared completely.
Lu Tan searched for him desperately for years, and it seemed he'd finally found him. But there was a clingy little brat by the boy's side.
It didn't matter, though. This time, Lu Tan thought, he would keep him by his side, and no one would ever take him away.
