Co-habitation | Rented-apartment romance | Enemies to lovers
Bankrupt heiress & fallen young master
Angry, gloomy corner-dweller VS outwardly docile, inwardly twisted
--"Become enemies, or become lovers."

Lin Zhizhou used to be a young lady. Then her family went bankrupt, and to make ends meet, she had no choice but to become a wage slave at a company, spending every day seething with resentment.
One night, she came home late after working overtime and was shocked to find her former nemesis unconscious outside her door. He had once been arrogant and haughty, looking down on everyone and clashing with her at every turn.
The man who used to keep even the hems of his clothes spotless was now lying helplessly curled up in a shabby stairwell, like a stray dog with nowhere to go.
Lin Zhizhou stared at his battered body, suppressing the urge to kick him hard, and smiled gleefully.

Lin Zhizhou never expected her nemesis to have lost his memory.
When he looked at Lin Zhizhou, all the hostility had vanished from his eyes. In its place was the clear, innocent, bewildered gaze of an elementary school student.
"Who are you?" he asked.
Driven by some dark, despicable, unspeakable motive, Lin Zhizhou gave an ambiguous snort and told him, word by word, "You're my boyfriend. You love me more than anyone in the entire universe, you do whatever I say, and you never hit back or talk back, no matter what I do."
And then he actually believed her.

Two unlucky people fall in love.
It's more or less a story about a young lady tormenting her once-nemesis, now-weaker-after-losing-his-memory, in a new way every day, while he sobs and loves her to death, until one day he gets his memory back and leaves in a cool, aloof manner. Then, barely out the door, he turns around with tears in his eyes and asks the heavens, "Just how much of her love for me was real?"
