Synopsis
[Infinite flow + apocalypse game + mind games + card draws + superpowers] [How can an arch-enemy and a teammate not be the same person?]
Welcome to the Ninth World.
Absolute fairness, a System for everyone, and randomly refreshed side quests. Your top priority is to clear the main storyline.
This is a game where superpowers can awaken at any time. But it is not a game where superpowers reign supreme.
Give up your advantages, and you might find a way to survive.
Outwit and distrust each other. Only the strongest survive.
In this game, the real threat isn't the NPCs, but the other players participating in the same side quest.
The only thing Lin Yin can rely on is her unpredictable blind-box superpower.
*
So when her S-rank superpower got switched out for a worthless one at the start of her first side quest, Lin Yin furiously hit the complaint button: ? You're messing with me, right? You didn't even provide a description of the power!
System: Explore for yourself. Message read, no reply.
But later, Lin Yin realized that no superpower is worthless. Only the player is!
In a game of Werewolf, she made players stubbornly tell lies until they got voted out. While everyone else tried to eliminate their rivals, she exploited a loophole in the rules and blew up the car instead.
In West City, she tricked believers into thinking she was a god, bluffed and conned her way to becoming a "Bearer of the Sacred Flame," fought her way through the challenges, and reached the boss, becoming the first player to clear that side quest.
She got a cognition-pollution power from the cognition-pollution side quest.
She got a luck-boosting power from the luck game.
Lin Yin: What? You remember my power being something else? You're using an outdated version.
The bewildered boss: Wait, why do you get so many powers?
Lin Yin said nothing, pointing at the boiling water: Look.
Boss: ?
Lin Yin: It's boiling.
*
A regular person was always by Lin Yin's side.
Su Jin was her emotional anchor, her lover, and her guide. Lin Yin thought this was the one thing in the game she could count on.
Until, amid the flames, she saw that the person who wanted to kill her had the same face as Su Jin.
Su Jin's other personality, Yu Zhao, said they were enemies.
But later, Yu Zhao, with the same emerald eyes as Su Jin, wrapped herself around Lin Yin's arm and kissed her. Then she whispered in her ear, "Why do you always like her?"
"Who?"
"Su Jin."
"Always?" Lin Yin raised an eyebrow.
*Dr. Lin, you know who you're looking at through my eyes.
Lin Yin certainly knew. She just hadn't expected someone who had died so many times to still care about something like that.
#Who says this blind-box power is bad? This blind box is amazing! #Why does this blind box have a time limit? #The next one's gonna be a rare pull #Praying to the heavens to draw the power I want #I'm never drawing blind boxes again in my next life
#What is this power? Keep it out of my card pool!!

A nontraditional infinite-flow story about clearing stages, with a greater focus on suspense in the early chapters.
Note 1: A pseudo-substitute romance. The two personalities are amplified aspects of Su Jin's character. They go from opposition to integration, but are essentially still one person. One-on-one, happy ending, mutual redemption.
Note 2: This world has a flexible and chaotic moral compass. Neither heroine is a good person in the traditional sense.
Note 3: Most of the characters are women. There will be one GL side couple, appearing around the second half. They're a group of very, very rich people with plenty of resources and equipment.
They're probably a rival team.
A shrewd heiress who looks down on people who don't know how to enjoy life vs. an ambitious woman from a poor background who thinks of nothing but winning. The ambitious one is the first to pursue the other, but whenever a crucial choice comes up, she wants to win and never knows when to let her partner have her way, even in a game with no payoff.
So she never manages to win the heiress's heart. But when the heiress realizes the ambitious woman can shower her with resources, she uses her charms to get both the resources and a wife.
The ambitious one thought she'd never find love in this life, and this block of wood somehow ended up with a wife.
After they get together, each secretly thinks the other is an idiot and that she's the one who won.
Theme: Love life
