A new idea I'm updating at my own pace~
Softhearted Medicine Bodhisattva x cold-faced Shadow Guard
Have you heard of the Shadow Guards?
The Kang Dynasty emperor's personal guard, chosen by the emperor himself to investigate all kinds of major cases across the realm, using any means necessary.
Have you heard of the Medicine King's Valley?
A blessed place of mountains and waters on Mingde Mountain, where the Valley Master personally teaches the arts of healing. They cure every kind of illness and treat everyone fairly.
Two people from two completely unrelated places cross paths:
Yang Dian'an, the Medicine King's Valley's last disciple, and Xiao Sheng, Chief Guard of the Yanliang Bureau.
One is a gentle little Medicine Bodhisattva, carefree in the martial world.
The other is a powerful Chief Guard who can stir up the capital.
Perhaps it was fate that brought them together again.
Perhaps the emperor's heartlessness forced them to balance the court on their own.
An imperial decree of marriage: one of them has been plotting for a long time, while the other has no idea.
At first...
He once resented her for being like the moon, hanging high in the sky and shining on everyone but him.
Yet when his family asked about her, he answered in a quiet, distant voice:
"Even if she isn't my wife, she'll still shine brightly."
She once resented him for being ruthless and refusing to believe in cause and effect.
Yet when her friends asked about him, she answered softly:
"I don't know if he's a good man or a bad one, but I think he's a man."
Two stubborn people won't necessarily be torn apart. They might still find their way to each other.
Because just because something goes unspoken doesn't mean it isn't there.
"Dian'an, Dian'an, always cherished, always at peace."
The most moving thing in the world is seeing the strong bow their heads in sincere love.
