Yu Wanzhi transmigrated into a book, a historical redemption novel.
She became a pitiful supporting female character who helped a sickly, doomed young man. But the System told her that because the original character was consumed by resentment and had arbitrarily swapped her storyline with the antagonist's, she was now stuck with...
The sickly young man's script.
System: You can return only if you use extremely sinister methods to take revenge on the original antagonist and satisfy the original character's hatred.
Yu Wanzhi, a model citizen who'd completed nine years of compulsory education: Me?

Yu Wanzhi had spent half her life being an honest person, and now she was kept awake all night by the thought of having to carry out such a sinister mission.
Luckily, Wei Xuan was blind and had disabled legs. It shouldn't be too hard. She summoned her courage and gave it a try.
Mission 1: Secretly spy on Wei Xuan without being discovered.
She dutifully kept watch outside the temple for three days, then fainted in the snow.
Mission 2: Write a deranged diary entry every day, with no repetition.
She racked her brains and exhausted everything she'd learned in her life, praising even the tiniest strand of his hair.
Mission 3: Make physical contact with Wei Xuan.
She pretended to fall, but accidentally shoved him, wheelchair and all, into an icy lake.
By the thirty-third day of writing her deranged diary, Yu Wanzhi had nearly scratched all the hair off her head. She really couldn't be sinister!
One day, she happened to find a notebook on the road.
Its contents were absolutely riveting:
"She was especially forward today. A strand of her hair brushed against my chin, and I think I've developed a heart condition. My heart is beating so fast."
"She wore the pale yellow gauze dress I secretly sent her and smiled at me. Her face was all pink. I want... I want to kiss her."
"She hasn't paid attention to me lately. She's meeting someone else in secret, but I'm almost blind now. My eyes have been bleeding so much. It hurts so much. Xiaoyu, could you touch me too?"
"I specially bought the sheer robe she likes, to wear when we meet."
"When will she realize I've been watching her from behind all along? Soon..."
"A fish should be trapped in the water forever."
Yu Wanzhi read it with a shiver of fear, then rejoiced, treating it like a treasure.
This is exactly my kind of thing! The author of this book is a genius. Heaven is on my side!

Yu Wanzhi worked diligently at her tasks for a long time. She felt that though Wei Xuan was quiet, he was gentle by nature and nothing like the sinister, deranged power minister in the original book.
Sure enough, the antagonist was different when given the supporting female character's script.
In private, Yu Wanzhi often wrote to the notebook's owner for advice because she wasn't "sinister" enough.
Kindred spirits in a bleak world, they quickly became close friends.
Until one day, she accidentally lost the notebook.
When she saw it again, it had somehow appeared silently in Wei Xuan's hands.
Yu Wanzhi breathed a sigh of relief. He was blind and couldn't read it.
But the next moment, she saw his long fingers trace the filthy words.
He removed his eye covering, and his cold gaze clung to her face inch by inch, almost obsessed.
"Tonight, A-Yu should learn how to make me yours."
"I'll teach you myself."

--- Upcoming novel: After My Cruel Husband Forced Me into a Marriage
Wen Shuyao had made a terrible mistake.
After being lost for years, she returned as the legitimate daughter of the Minister of Revenue. All she wanted was to care for her ailing father and fulfill her filial duties, then live out the rest of her days in peace.
But her father's concubine insisted on marrying her into the Duke's household. The duke's wife was ruthless and severe, and life after marriage would surely be difficult.
Her birth mother was missing. Once her father passed away, her half-brother would inherit all the family fortune, and no one would be there to stand up for her.
Trapped in a den of tigers, Wen Shuyao was finally driven to desperation. She gritted her teeth and found a storyteller, then spun a scandalous tale involving herself and Prince Rui, who had supposedly died in battle at the border.
Only...the storyteller was cold and aloof, and there was something strangely clingy in the way he looked at her.
She was secretly delighted. A man of few words was perfect. The most important thing was to keep this secret, so she was in the clear!
Just as she'd hoped, the story was full of aching romance, and many young ladies were enchanted by it. With the opera troupe singing it too, rumors of their deep devotion as a married couple soon spread throughout the capital.
The marriage with the Duke's household was completely off the table.
Then one day, as Wen Shuyao was cheerfully shopping for outfits, her maid's flustered voice reached her ears.
"This is terrible, Miss!"
"What's got you so worked up?"
"Prince Rui isn't dead. He returned to the capital this morning and was named regent. He says he wants to personally..."
"...pay a visit to the Minister of Revenue's residence."
Wen Shuyao's vision went dark. She nearly fainted.

Prince Rui Yin Zhan held power over the entire court. He was handsome and noble, disciplined and courteous, an exalted royal far beyond her reach.
Yet he fell for a country girl.
After the effects of the passion-inducing incense wore off, the country girl wept and told him she was all alone, so she'd had no choice but to tell everyone he was her husband.
Yin Zhan knew they were worlds apart and had no intention of getting involved with her. He endured the situation for the time being. Once he found out who had drugged him, he planned to reveal his identity and give her some money so she could make a fresh start.
But she had already disappeared without a trace, without even leaving a letter.
After that, Yin Zhan repeatedly dreamed of her luminous face, her gentle voice calling him "husband." His heart couldn't help but ache and flutter, and he could no longer control himself...
He swore to track down the audacious country girl.
Until, outside a bookshop in the capital, a lively splash of pink rushed into the rain. She grabbed his injured arm first, mistaking him for the storyteller.
"Sir, this matter is extremely confidential. Please come home with me so we can discuss it in detail."
Yin Zhan recognized her at a glance.
So not only was her identity false, even her name was a lie!
The handsome face hidden beneath his mask gradually hardened. His gaze turned dark and cold as he replied, "All right."
