Boohoohoo! Mermaids with tails of every color sat around the coral, weeping over the love story of their ancestor and the prince.
The current merfolk prince, holding a pitchfork, scoffed at them. "Humans are all hypocritical and cunning creatures. They capture merfolk and force them to cry so they can collect our pearls! Our goal is the stars and the sea!"
Then one day, a beautiful human accidentally fell into the ocean. The merfolk prince rescued him and announced to his people, "Oh, his eyes shine brighter than the most beautiful gems in the world. It was love at first sight. We are a match made in heaven, a love that could outshine the whole world!"
The merfolk: ...
The prince was happily building a life with his human when one day, after returning from cleaning up the ocean, he found that his human had vanished!
Worse still, he seemed to be pregnant with that human's baby!
This is the story of an abandoned (not really) merfolk prince who raises his merbaby with great effort and travels a thousand miles to find his husband.

He decides to adopt a human who isn't interested in him and is diligent in his studies.
As the seasons pass, the kitten looks around and finally sets his sights on Lu Boyuan, the campus heartthrob and top student rumored to be the coldest and most heartless person at school, who wants nothing to do with anything fluffy.

Lu Boyuan enters the graduate school entrance exam study room as usual, and keenly notices that the books on his desk have been moved.
He approaches without a word and spots a soft pink... paw?
Then a round little cat head peeks out. The kitten blinks his beautiful, clear, pale blue eyes and tilts his head at the college student standing stiffly before him.
He meows twice. "Human, I've already organized what you need to study today. No need to thank me."
"Tch." Lu Boyuan frowns. He doesn't like these fragile little things that shed fur and have no redeeming qualities beyond being cute.
Feeling the man's chilly, stay-away-from-cats aura, Yun Fu excitedly meows and purrs. This is exactly the effect he was going for!
Lu Boyuan frowns even more deeply and takes out his phone, typing away: Why is the cat I just met making that noise nonstop?

The human and cat get along harmoniously in the days that follow. Lu Boyuan goes from disliking the kitten to buying cat supplies online like crazy, becoming a proper cat slave.
Yun Fu, however, is disappointed. Human, how could you too fall for my fluffy pants? Just as he is about to leave, there is a bang! The cat transforms into a handsome young man with delicate features.
Thump! The new scratching post hits the floor. Lu Boyuan gazes at the somewhat flustered young man, his eyes dark and unfathomable.
Good. The cat is his, and the human is his too.
