Everyone thought it was a wonderful match. But who could have known that, ever since the engagement, disaster would strike the two families one after another? Li Mingchuan's parents both passed away within a short time, and the family spent a great deal of money.

Yu Li's father drank while away from home, fell and hit his head, then broke his leg. He was never quite right after that and had to lie in bed, waiting for someone to care for him.
