Kung Fu Superstar: Starting at Age Five [The 1980s]

The Li family had a youngest son who lounged around all day.

The Liu family had a youngest daughter who was lazy and loved to eat.

Their families arranged a match, and the two of them hit it off like a pair of turtles spotting a mung bean. They happily got married.

They thought they were a perfect match: after the wedding, they could happily live off their parents together, and neither would nag the other to get ahead in life.

However,

that happy life lasted less than two years. Then their daughter, Li Kui, was born, and everything changed.

The girl could eat so much! Most babies drank one bottle of milk per meal, but she needed three and still wasn’t full. If she was hungry, she’d wail so loudly her cries could lift the roof.

Now they were in trouble. Their daughter ate too much for them to keep mooching off their parents, so the couple had no choice but to drag themselves out to earn money to raise her.

…

Li Kui came back from the apocalypse to the 1980s and became a baby born in 1980.

Her superhuman strength came with her, too, and as she grew older, her appetite would only get bigger.

The meager money her parents earned every day wasn’t even enough to satisfy her appetite.

With hunger looming, Li Kui declared that this wouldn’t do. She had to go out and find food for herself.

Just then, a film crew came by looking for a child actor who knew a little martial arts. They’d provide all the food she could eat, plus a salary.

As soon as Li Kui heard, she slung her baby bottle around her neck, put her little hands behind her back, and marched off to audition.

From today on, she’d earn her own money for food!
