My Roommate Is a Nightmare: Why Aren't You Asleep Yet?

Li Le is a newly born dream demon, also known as a nightmare. He's cooked sweet porridge, warmed fragrant milk, cleaned the room until it sparkles, and aired the quilt until it's soft and fluffy. Now all that's left is for the man who gets to enjoy it all to fall asleep already.

Huo Yu is handsome, six foot three, with a strong, narrow waist, broad shoulders, and long legs. As the head of the Huo Department Store empire, he's rich enough to own a top-of-the-line king-size bed. Other demons envy him and say his dreams must taste amazing. Li Le is so lucky to have this Host.

But only Li Le knows that this man never sleeps!

It's three in the morning, and the man still isn't tired. Li Le pouts. He has more than enough strength, even without resorting to a few little tricks. He pulls out a spiked club...

Huo Yu is busy with work, burdened by worries, and has trouble sleeping. He also has a little secret no one knows. When the corner of his eye catches his pet little demon approaching with red eyes, he immediately tosses aside the financial report and swallows two melatonin pills.

The quilt dips beside him. A drowsy voice mumbles a threat in his ear: "Go to sleep, or I'll hit you and knock you out."

Huo Yu's lips curl into a smile. He secretly slips himself another sleeping pill.

Little Scene:

Li Le is a proper demon. He doesn't know that sleep can be a state of being or a verb that gets censored.

When Huo Yu sits on the bed with an arm around Li Le's waist, he looks up and says in a low, husky voice, his eyes dark and deep, "Xiao Li, let's sleep together."

Li Le glances at the sky outside. His handsome brows knit together. "What kind of demon eats in broad daylight? The best, sweetest dreams only come at night."

Huo Yu's brain freezes. He thought he'd made his meaning perfectly clear, so he starts to explain. "Xiao Li, I mean the two of us sleeping together."

Li Le blinks. Though confused, he obediently lies down beside Huo Yu and even helpfully takes off Huo Yu's outer clothes.

Huo Yu, defeated: "...I'm going to die at your hands."

Li Le panics: "Don't die! My meals for next life depend on you!"
