[Launching in April!]
*
A lucky person transmigrates into a book set in a world of immortal cultivation and becomes the devoted male supporting character. The System assigns him the task of winning over the heroine and taking the male lead's place.
The System headquarters has a major headache on its hands with this supporting character. He never follows the script: he's either going after the heroine or stealing her golden finger, constantly opposing the protagonists' group.
In the end, he even stabs the heroine with a sword. The first dozen Systems all abandoned the mission and left, switching to jobs supervising other Hosts instead. So the arduous task fell to He Yi.
After watching Lu Xianhe's string of rebellious schemes from the System headquarters, with the book restarting again and again, He Yi makes up her mind. She'll enter the story herself and teach the supporting character how to become a proper suitor.

Lu Xianhe transmigrated into a book. When he first arrived in this world, something claiming to be a System appeared in his mind and assigned him a mission.
Lu Xianhe had to complete the mission before he could transmigrate back.
Looking at the heroine, a naive girl who only knew to cry for help whenever trouble arose, Lu Xianhe couldn't help laughing in exasperation. "You want me to flatter the original heroine and win her over, then shove the male lead aside and take his place? Ha! Do I look that pathetic? I'm not going to grovel and beg anyone. Whether I pursue her or not, whether I finish the mission or not, I like it here and I'm staying. So what!"
Then one day, a young woman came up the mountain to become a disciple, specifically requesting to be Lu Xianhe's junior sister.
Later, this arrogant, lawless, and eccentric young man was finally brought to heel by her and made perfectly obedient.

[Bonus Scene]
When the plot takes a strange turn:
[The young man gripped her wrist obsessively. His eyes were desolate, like stagnant water, yet fixed on He Yi.
"You'll abandon me like they did, won't you?"
Just as so many others had abandoned him before.
He Yi's eyes sparkled with laughter as she held the person surrounded by darkness close.
"I'm not like them. They might abandon you, but I won't."
"I'll always be by your side. I'll never leave." ]

Reader's Guide:
1. The original heroine is not vilified. Both the original heroine and the heroine of this story grow over time.
2. Not a wish-fulfillment novel. Both leads transmigrate.
3. My own take on immortal cultivation, with plenty of original worldbuilding. Happy ending, sweet romance.
4. The cultivation levels are: Heavenly Void, Earthly Void, Profound Void, Yellow Void, Life Void, Breath Void, with three tiers in each level, followed by the Life-and-Death Realm.
Theme: After hardship comes better days; keep facing the sun and wait for the flowers to bloom
