Diary of an Office Worker

My name is Kazami Ichika. I'm 14 years old, and I've already been a corporate drone for five years.

Don't ask why I'm a child laborer. We aren't a legitimate company. And don't ask why I still keep a diary. I'm not exactly a legitimate person, either.

At 14, Kazami Ichika beat up the black-market doctor Mori Ogai, who claimed the former boss had appointed him as his successor, along with his supporters, and sent them off to the torture department. But after she went away on a two-month business trip, Mori Ogai had taken over.

At 15, Kazami Ichika decided Dazai Osamu and Nakahara Chuuya were going to deafen her with their bickering. She threatened the boss that under no circumstances would she keep partnering with those two, but then came the Dragon Head Conflict, and the Double Black made a name for themselves.

At 16, with all her contingencies in place, Kazami Ichika only wanted to earn enough money to retire as soon as possible. But every side business she tried went bust.

At 21, Kazami Ichika retired, and Yokohama became more and more peaceful.

Only then did she realize she should have claimed to be a seer.

1. First person, my take on a girl adored by everyone, dark, obsessive otome elements, and a love-triangle mess of unrequited feelings.

2. Written for love. Apologies for out-of-character portrayals.

Theme: People lie even in diaries meant only for themselves.
