Lu Zhi, ID [Sweet Soft Strawberry Candy], is a rising star on the Combat Rankings, and has earned himself a public roasting by the System

The AI reporter says enthusiastically, “As a newcomer who cleared an S-rank instance, you must have an amazing weapon, right?”

The boy silently pulls an ordinary-looking broadsword from his inventory. “Does this count?”

The reporter stammers, “Then... you must have an extraordinary talent for combat, right?”

Lu Zhi grips his rhinestone-encrusted wheelchair. “Well, I'm disabled, so I usually provide technical support. I'm not very good at fighting.”

The host asks, “Then your combat ranking...”

Lu Zhi says, “It was nothing.”

Lu Zhi is a battle-focused player with the worst luck imaginable. He was walking down the street when a car hit him out of nowhere. The driver vanished without a trace, leaving only an empty truck at the scene.

Then players start disappearing from the game one by one, and the boundary between game and reality fades as the two worlds gradually merge.

The two first meet on the hospital rooftop.

They spend quite a while arguing over whether disabled people have priority when it comes to jumping off a building.
