Kato Anga is a delinquent.
The notorious biker gang type is said to be an expert at smoking, drinking, perming and dyeing their hair, and getting tattoos. Every day, they're busy fighting, stabbing people, and practicing their fast-talking tongue tricks all at once.
But Kato Anga is the exact opposite. He hates attracting attention, has a mild, dull personality, and became a famous loner in his class on the first day of school. He even looks like the sort of person everyone can bully.
At school, he doesn't chase girls, drink, perm his hair, or extort protection money. He's always working part-time, is extremely dedicated to making money, and dreams of becoming a proper teacher one day.
Ever since he was little, people have told others, "Don't be friends with him." Kato Anga has always taken it for granted that nothing in the world has anything to do with him, and that his life has already gone completely to ruin.
Then one day, he is forced to take the first step toward a normal life, and someone turns his gloomy, dark world upside down.
