4. The early chapters focus on raising a child. Romance develops only after the heroine regains her adult form, and it gets very twisted and emotionally intense.

5. It has Lovecraftian and sci-fi elements, but doesn't adhere entirely to the Cthulhu mythos. The sci-fi and mythology are original creations.
