Awu has a magical restaurant that can travel across different planes. But this time, he runs into a little trouble. After entering this world, he looks back and sees that the rift between planes has been blocked by an invisible wall. Luckily, as a go-with-the-flow “cat,” as long as the people he’s raised and his restaurant are still around, it makes no difference to him where he is.
So this little restaurant sets off from the Xianzhou to roam the entire sea of stars, from the Swarm Disaster to the return of Amphoreus to the sea of stars.
Please note: Our restaurant welcomes all friendly customers, regardless of species or faction. Also, customers may be from different timelines or spaces, so it’s perfectly normal to encounter your past or future self, or acquaintances from a parallel world, inside the restaurant. Please don’t panic.
Here, you might see Director Aventurine treating Kakavasha to a meal; the Stellaron Hunter Blade dumping chili powder into the High Elder Dan Feng’s bowl; Stelle and Caelus stealing food from each other’s bowls… You might also see Yaoshi trying to curry favor with their friend Lan, Aha stirring up trouble everywhere, and Fuli silently taking pictures without saying a word…
No matter what kind of being you see, please believe that everything is normal.
Because the manager’s wish is for everyone to have a day when they can eat their fill and eat well. Only then will they have the energy to face each day ahead!
The CP is Jing Yuan, but not the main story version of him: it’s his “retired” self from a parallel world. The plot won’t be changed much. Or rather, I won’t get too involved in the main story outside the Xianzhou. I’ll just make up for a few regrets and, at the very least, let some people say their goodbyes properly. There are plenty of personal inventions concerning the parallel world and the past timeline, because I’m a fictional historian, after all.
I’m bad at romance, so apart from the bonus chapters, there won’t be any getting-to-know-each-other-and-falling-in-love scenes. There probably won’t be much romance, either. The two of them are already like an old married couple from the start.
But I won’t remove the romance plot. After all, I made this dumpling feast for Jing Yuan, but I’m also afraid that making him the protagonist would make him out of character.
Theme: Since things have come to this, let’s eat first.
